Tempus Fugit

Description

'Tempus Fugit' (‘Time Flies’ in Latin) is a canvas project born from the natural phenomena of the cicada; an insect that stays buried underground for many years before hatching and flying off on the same day. The cicadas/ time is represented by various styled watch faces with iridescent green wings, from actual beetles. The bottom of the canvas is covered with heaps of pocket watch spares and beetle wings, contrasting with the bright yellow background. The whole canvas is covered with a thin film of resin for protection.
