Description

“fad – noun: an intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, especially one that’s short-lived”.

FAD is a 50 x 40″ canvas featuring a large number of ‘Go Go Crazy Bones’ toys, a fad from the 1990s. It showcases the superficiality and pointless nature of fads in a bright and eye-catching way. As humans we’ve always been hoarders, collecting and displaying trinkets of various forms and FAD displays our exploitation with this behaviour.
