1970s NY Subway

Description

This detailed oil painting is of a scene in a NY Subway carriage during the 70s. It features two white policemen standing over an African American lady. The subway may have been cleaned up since then but there is still a long way to go to remove racism. The painting was actually painted over another one I found in a charity shop and comes with a gilded frame.
